Ok, so let me just start off with this: I have been trading since June of 2024.
I originally started learning how to trade with ICT/SMC. It was TERRIBLE, and complicated. That’s when I stumbled upon Socrates instagram page (formerly @Futures_Father). It was a video of socrates taking an NQ Short with 10 contracts. The guy was up $10,000!
Have you ever seen that scene from Wolf of Wallstreet where Donny says “Show me a paystub for $70,000 and I’ll quit my job right now”? Yeah it was that kind of moment. I threw everything I had learned up till then and started changing things.
Socrates emphasizes that trading does NOT need to be difficult or complicated. The basics are that there are 2 things that happen in the markets: Buying, and Selling.
